What the apps do with your data

• Video never leaves your devices. It travels directly from your phone to your PC over a USB cable or your local Wi-Fi network, and is handed to the applications you point at the camera. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party, and there is no server in this project that anything could be sent to.
• Wi-Fi connections are encrypted with TLS. The pairing QR code contains only your PC's local network addresses and a fingerprint of a certificate generated on your PC.
• No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising identifiers. Neither app collects, stores, or transmits personal information.
• Log files stay on your devices. The Windows app writes technical logs to your PC to help diagnose problems; they never leave the machine and are removed when the app is uninstalled.
• Snapshots you take are saved to your own Pictures folder and are yours.

Permissions

• The iOS app asks for camera access to capture video. It does not ask for microphone access; your PC's own microphone is used for audio.
• The Windows app asks for network access on private networks so the phone can connect over Wi-Fi.

This website

This site is static pages with no accounts, no analytics scripts, and no cookies set by us. Fonts and styling load from public content delivery networks, which see the request the way any web server sees a page load.
